About AngelVineVC

AngelVineVC brings together angel investors and more than two dozen leading venture funds in order to strengthen the community of angel investors interested in funding early-stage ventures, primarily but not exclusively in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states.  To achieve this mission, AngelVineVC connects angel investors and venture capitalists in a way that enables them to expand their networks and effectiveness in making and supporting their investments.  AngelVineVC meets regularly to review business plans and presentations from early-stage companies seeking angel financing. Since 2002, our inception, AngelVineVC has participated in more than 15 financings.

AngelVineVC also strives to:
  • Create networking opportunities that may lead to cooperative investment opportunities among angels.
  • Enhance the understanding among the angel community of the motivations and goals of early and next-stage VCs.
  • Enhance the understanding among VCs of the current motivations and goals of the angel communities, especially the angel communities outside of Silicon Valley and Boston.
  • Foster an exchange of new ideas for deal structure, investigation techniques and investment processes.
  • Facilitate an increase in the number of deserving early-stage businesses obtaining venture financing.
  • Help early-stage investors obtain better results from their investments.
